Hello 2024! Brace yourselves for the year of the Wood Dragon. Happening Feb 10th, 2024.

After all the adulting and harsh realities of the past year, we all need a shift in the wind. I bet you are ready for piles of good news and events sprinkled into your life. The devastation and violence we collectively moved through and witnessed in the year behind us was a bit much for the sensitive heart. For those who have experienced much loss and pain, may you experience relief and joy from our Wood Dragon year.

The Dragon is quite the spectacle. He brings confidence, power and good luck. You can’t deny its power, charisma, and intelligence. He is not afraid of challenges, and charges forward in whatever he delights. You can’t help but be in awe of the ways of the Dragon. I know in Western culture the dragon is associated with evil and darkness. But in the East, it is a symbol of imperial power and authority. The dragon is gifted, clever and naturally draws in good fortune. It is the only mythical creature in the Chinese Zodiac, which makes it even more special.

In addition to being a dragon year, it is also a Wood year. The season of spring is associated with the wood element. It is a time for new beginnings, new starts, and exponential growth. There is life and vigorous energy moving through 2024. We were serious at work in 2023, but this next year the work will be potent and inspired.

How will Wood Dragon affect us? The cosmic air will surround us with a powerful drive to grow the divine vision we hold for ourselves. Self-doubt and fear will be less of an influence. A newfound confidence will move us into action, especially on desires that have become dormant. Bring back to life our dreams, and know that luck is on our side. What was so incredibly hard to do will be less hard with the Wood Dragon. We get to channel its commanding presence, its charm and intelligence to work through complexities, and its bravery to walk through fires.
